Wow!!!

“Can we go walk Bella?” I asked Mrs. Pam. “Sure” she said. She needs to get all of that out of her system anyway. Ok!

So Lauren, Katie, and I went outside to walk Bella, their dog. When we were out there Katie asked, “how much longer it would be until Bella has her puppies?” “ Well we don’t really know until it happens”, I said. Ok.

When we got back inside Bella was getting back in her tub where she was going to have her puppies. Katie and I had seen something wet on the ground, and we had just thought that she went to the bathroom again. So we told Mrs. Pam. Then Mrs. Pam asked Katie had been sitting when she did that. Katie said no.

After that Mrs. Pam called the vet and asked them what that meant. They said that it was probably her water breaking. After she got off the phone she had told us that.

We started screaming because we were so happy it finally happened, also because we had been up all night waiting for Bella to have her puppies, and she never did.

It was about an hour later when Mrs. Pam called the vet again. She had called to see how long it would take after her water broke that she would have the puppies. The vet said about an hour to two hours.

About 5 minutes after Mrs. Pam got off the phone with the vet, Bella started preparing to have her 1st puppy. It had been about 5 more minutes and Bella had still not had her 1st puppy yet. Mrs. Pam said that we were probably making her nervous, so we went and sat in the living room.

About 1 minute later the 1st puppy popped out and it was in a sack. When Bella ate the sack off of it, it was brown. It was cute but not fluffy, more like wet, gross, and nasty. Bella was very protective of her 1st baby, but after the 2nd she was so tired she did not care what we did with her babies.

After the 2nd baby she had 11 more. We were so excited we had seen a real live birth. It was such a good experience. I learned that good things take time.

Be happy!!!

What would I do with out it?

My favorite sense is sight because if I could not see I don’t know how I could see myself in the mirror. This makes my life better because if I could not see I could not fix my hair or do my makeup. So I am very blessed that I have sight but it is not something that I absolutely need to have.

If my sight was taken away I would not go through lots of eye surgery’s to get it back. I would would just have deal with the fact that I had no sight and that was that. Because think about it, when you pray you don’t need sight. Sight is not a thing you have to have but I am still so very blessed to have it. Truly some people just want sight so they can watch tv or read your messages, but all that stuff we don’t truly have to have!  Sure some people that are blind think it is the worst thing in the world that had ever happened to anyone, but if you really think about it right now they could be laying in a hospital bed instead of being blind. I would rather be blind any day than be on the edge of life and death wouldn’t you?

Helen Keller

This girl is my inspiration because every time I think about having a problem or getting hurt, I always know that someone could always have it worse, and if she did not complain why should I?

When I was 5 years old, I was on my way to Disney World and I fell asleep. When I woke up all I knew was that I was in a hospital. I had had a seizure on the interstate outside of Tallahassee. I had always been perfectly fine and had never had one before then. All my family was there and they had seen it happen. They told me I had epilepsy. I had never even heard of that before. I was so sad that I had a seizure, but then I thought of Helen Keller and how they could not have told her that she had epilepsy. She could not have heard them. Even if they had wrote it on a board she could not have seen it, because she was blind and deaf.

The second time I had a seizure I was aware that I had had one but I had wished that I did not. Then I thought what did Helen Keller think every morning when she woke up and could not see anything.

I thought a lot about how I complain about having to take medicine. But at least I could see which medicine to take in the morning. So if you ever think you have it bad, think about Helen Keller, because she probably has it worse than you ever will.

The Best and Worst Memories

The Best and the Worst Memories

I remember how you would come in during storms

snuggle up to me in bed

and how you would run to the door

until we let you in

All the great memories

will be remembered but never forgot

as I come home that one day

after school

when you did not come running up to me

I started to see only blur and tears

I ran inside

wanting to think this was all a dream

But it was not…

I miss you scruffy

you are my dog

I Loved you

and I still do!!:)

Stick to Your Goals

I could feel the sweat dripping down from my head , when my coach Mrs. Julie said “try it’”! I said “what if I fall on my head”? “You will not fall on your head”. “I know you can do this”. So I tried, and guess what? I feel right on my head.

I got up and asked if I could go do it on the trampoline. She said “you are going to have to learn how to do your round off back handspring if you want to do it in front of anybody”.

The next day I went to the park and I was thinking about how she said you are going to have to learn how to do it if you want to do it in fronts of anybody. I really wanted to learn how to do it. Then I remembered seeing this poster that said if you stick to your goals you could do anything you set your mind to. So I got up and went behind the swings where it was all grass. Asked my mom if she would spot me. So I ran and put all my anger into my jump so I could have a great round off back handspring. I did not think about anything except what my coach said yesterday that made me a little mad. Before I knew it , it was over and I had not fallen on my head , I kept doing it all day and once my mom videoed me doing it and sent it to Mrs. Julie.

Wow, I Learned a lot from not giving up. You should always stick to what to want. Sometimes it hurts a little along the way but you can handle it don’t worry!!(:
