My topic this week is 9/11. I know this is not a current event but it still affects us today. The article I used was called “14 Years After 9/11, the War on Terror is Accomplished Everything Bin Laden hoped would happen”. I got my article from thenation.com. On September 11, 2001 a awful thing happened. 2 planes were flown into the twin towers. Some people on the bottom floors were able to get out, but others on the upper floors could not find anyway out so they were burned or they jumped. My position on the issue is that this was a horrible tragedy for all the families of the victims and the ones who were flying the planes deserved what they got. This event affected all of America and still does down to this very day. This also affects the world. It affects how we see other countries and how other countries see us.
