The Best and the Worst Memories

I remember how you would come in during storms

snuggle up to me in bed

and how you would run to the door

until we let you in

All the great memories

will be remembered but never forgot

as I come home that one day

after school

when you did not come running up to me

I started to see only blur and tears

I ran inside

wanting to think this was all a dream

But it was not…

I miss you scruffy

you are my dog

I Loved you

and I still do!!:)
