This article is about how some people are boycotting the oscars. They disagree on the choices that were made for it. I agree with the writer that is saying that they should just be happy about it.

This article disscuses how the lottery helps people to realize their dreams. The writer states that paying $2 to possibly win all that money and make all your dreams come true is worth it. I agree with the writer.

In this article low-wage workers are lacking health care because their bosses are working them just under the amount of hours they need to qualify for health care. The writer argues that either they should have to be worked enough hours in order to get health care or get paid enough to where they can pay for it themselves. I agree with the writer.

Current Event 12/4/15

The topic of my article this week is of the guy who was found guilty after posting a facebook photo. The title of my article is “Florida man found guilty of wife’s murder after posting photo on Facebook”. I got my article on cnn.com. The mas was thought to have killed his wife. Only after he posted this photo on facebook was he found guilty. The photo was of his wife’s body. I think that the guy should have to pay for what he did. He should go to prison for life for killing another person and maybe even given a death sentence. It does not effect me in any major way. I do feel bad for his wife’s family and the loss they had to go through. Also any of her friends that also had to loose her. This event may effect the world in a small way. Not in a major way. It adds another person onto a crime list. It also puts another person in prison.

Current Event 11/20/15

This week the topic of my article is the attacks on Paris by ISIS. The title of my article is “Paris attacks at a glance: Thursday’s developments”. I got my article on cnn.com. On November 18th the Paris attacks began. ISIS started shoot outs on the street and we’re doing suicide bombing. Some of the leaders of the attack have been found but others are still out there being searched for. I think that all members of ISIS should have to pay for what they have done. Walking in to somewhere and causing all sorts of problems is not something you can just do and get away with. If you kill somebody without having to think about it, then you should have to go along with them. “To forgive the terrorists if up to God, but to send them to him is up to me,” Putin said. This quote is very true. This event has a huge impact on the world and on me. It hurts me to see all these innocent people dying without reason. It affects the world because we have already had  problems with ISIS, this is just increasing them. Locating and making them pay for what they have done is very important and should be taken very seriously.
